The AF-02 is both lightweight and comfortable. It is fitted with a proven high quality noise-canceling microphone that allows the user to communicate to a listener or a speech recognition engine even in very noisy environments. Uni-directional or omni directional microphones are also available as options. Much consideration has been put into the physical design of the AF-02. The flexible boom arm enables the user to position the microphone for optimum voice pickup. Cable runs neatly to the front where it can be conveniently connected to a radio, PDA or any other communication device. An in-line PTT(option) can also be installed. The headband is highly resistant to corrosion and is easy to clean. The AF-02 headset uses eartips that provide highly effective noise isolation. More than simple earplugs, these Eartips provide full spectrum noise reduction of up to 35 dB of attenuation. Option for single sided or dual sided speakers is available.
